STAR WARS II - Attack of the Clones

In the second episode of the saga “Attack of the Clones” we meet a grown up Anakin Skywalker alongside Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Young Anakin is still learning how to control his feelings and be a better padwan learner. He reencounters Padmé Amidala who now is a senator for Naboo. Senator Padmé has to vote for an important issue in the Senate when attacks on her life are made.
In order to protect the senator, Obi-Wan and Anakin are assigned by the Jedi Council to be by her side always. Anakin becomes infatuated with Padmé and takes his assignment very personal and more serious, which makes Obi-Wan uneasy knowing that this is not the Jedi way. A Jedi must not know fear, hate nor love.
As Obi-Wan investigates Padmé’s attack more and more he discovers a clone army apparently made for the Republic. Fear rises in the Senate and Chancellor Palpatine is voted to receive higher powers so he can authorize the building of a clone army for the Republic.
Anakin confesses his love to Padmé which makes her very uneasy knowing his oath to the Jedi order and her political career. She advises him to control his feelings because their love would lead nowhere. As he was suppose to guard her he receives news from Obi-Wan who was in danger investigating the clone matter. They both go after Obi-Wan to save him and end up in the clutches of Count Dooku, an evil sith lord.
Anakin and Obi-Wan battle Count Dooku. After Obi-Wan is injured Anakin takes Count Dooku on by himself. Anakin is driven back against the wall. He loses one lightsaber. Finally Count Dooku, in one flashing move, sends Anakin’s
arm, cut off at the elbow, flying, still gripping his lightsaber. Anakin drops to the ground in agony. Count Dooku draws himself up to deliver the coup de grace.Suddenly, through the thick smoke, emerges the heroic figure of YODA who recues both Obi-Wan and Anakin from certain death.
After this Anakin escorts Padmé back to Naboo and the Jedi Council meets to draw conclusions. The Republic’s clone army is preparing for battle.
The final scenes of the movie show Anakin and Padmé speaking their vows in front of a Naboo holy man.
