Sunshine 2007
Sunshine is a 2007 science fiction slasher suspense film directed by Danny Boyle. The screenplay is by Alex Garland. The film stars Rose Byrne, Cliff Curtis, Chris Evans, Troy Garity, Cillian Murphy, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benedict Wong, and Michelle Yeoh. Fox Searchlight is distributing the film, which opened in the UK on 5 April 2007, and is due to open in the US in the autumn or winter 2007.
The Simpsons Movie
It is being produced by 20th Century Fox, Gracie Films, and Film Roman and is scheduled to be released July 27, 2007. The film is directed by long-time Simpsons producer David Silverman and written by a team of Simpsons writers that includes Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, Al Jean, George Meyer, Mike Reiss, John Swartzwelder, Jon Vitti, David Mirkin, Mike Scully, Matt Selman, and Ian Maxtone-Graham. The movie is produced alongside the series, despite long-time rumors that a movie would enter production only when the series had reached its end.
Taking lives
Taking Lives is a 2004 film starring Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke, based on the novel of the same title by Michael Pye. The original music score is composed by Philip Glass. The film is marketed with the tagline “He would kill to be you.”
Zodiac (2007)
Based on the Robert Graysmith books about the real life notorious Zodiac, a serial killer who terrorized San Francisco with a string of seemingly random murders during the 1960s and 1970s.
Epic movie
Epic Movie is an American 2007 parody film that was directed and written by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer and produced by Paul Schiff. The film mainly spoofs some of the high-box-office-grossing epic films of 2005 and 2006: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, the Harry Potter film series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, X-Men: The Last Stand, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Nacho Libre, Snakes on a Plane, The Da Vinci Code, Mission Impossible 3, Superman Returns, the Star Wars series, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Click and Borat. It was made in a similar style to Not Another Teen Movie, Date Movie and the Scary Movie series.
Raise your voice
Raise Your Voice is an American drama film released in 2004. It was directed by Sean McNamara and stars Hilary Duff. Oliver James, David Keith, and Dana Davis co-star. The film tells the story of a teenage girl from Flagstaff, Arizona who spends the summer at a performing arts school in Los Angeles against her father’s will. It received scathing reviews from critics and failed at the box office.
The film was originally pitched as a “Christian Music Project”, and Evan Rachel Wood was originally cast as Terri, but she had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts. The film features songs from Duff’s album Hilary Duff, which was released in the U.S. a week before Raise Your Voice; the songs featured are “Fly”, “Someone’s Watching over Me” and “Jericho”.
